HOLISTIC MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING
THERAPY FOR SEEKERS, SKEPTICS, AND CREATIVES
Not everyone comes to therapy looking for a diagnosis or a fix. Some come with questions, doubt, or a deep sense that something needs to shift. I work with people who are seeking clarity, meaning, or a more honest relationship with themselves.
STEP OUTSIDE OF INSTA-THERAPY
Social media is full of pop-psychology and one-size-fits-all solutions, which are superficial and over-generalized. One-on-one counseling can be a supportive environment to process painful emotions, explore the barriers that are keeping you stuck, and foster a new mindset that will empower you to make positive changes.
MY APPROACH
I am an LPC-Associate in the state of Texas, supervised by Sarah Arnold, LPC-S. My approach to therapy is collaborative and embraces the complexity of being human. You are not a diagnosis or a problem to fix. Instead, I view experiences like anxiety, depression, inattention, or emotional pain as signals pointing to stress, unmet needs, or past experiences that haven’t yet been fully understood or supported.
As a holistic counselor, I look at the whole picture: your emotions, thoughts, physical well-being, relationships, environment, spirituality, and values. I draw from mindfulness, body awareness, emotional exploration, nutrition, and practical tools for building structure and self-trust. But more than anything, our work is about being able to sit together with whatever is coming up, without jumping to fix it or bypass it with tools.
My role is not to give you advice or tell you how to live your life, but to help you make sense of what’s happening, stay present with it, and find your own clarity and direction. Together, we help you learn how to slow down, listen carefully, notice patterns, and create space for new ways of responding.
WHO I WORK WITH
I mostly work with young adults who are navigating major life transitions, feeling stuck, or managing challenges like anxiety, burnout, difficulty focusing, low motivation, and feelings of sadness or emptiness. Many of my clients are in school, creative fields, or caring professions - juggling internal pressure, uncertainty, and the expectations of others. They often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed or unsure of where to start, but ready for something to shift.
I also work with people who feel disconnected from mainstream mental healthcare. Many are skeptical of the system, critical of diagnostic labels, or have had negative experiences with therapy or medication. I understand that perspective and I’m committed to providing an environment that respects your beliefs and experiences.
I especially enjoy working with creative people - artists, writers, musicians, filmmakers, and deep thinkers- in a way that honors your complexity without asking you to compartmentalize who you are.
WHAT THERAPY IS (AND ISN’T)
Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you, because I don’t believe you’re broken. It’s not about giving advice, offering quick solutions, or relying on surface-level coping skills (though practical tools are sometimes part of the work and can be useful).
Therapy is a space where you can slow down, make sense of what you’re going through, and build trust in your own thoughts and decisions. It’s not about forcing change; it’s about making space for what works for you. I’m here to walk alongside you and help you find your way with curiosity and compassion.
If you’ve felt unsure about therapy, or you’ve been let down by traditional mental health care, you’re not alone. I offer a space where your doubts are welcome and your perspective is taken seriously - and where you aren’t forced into a diagnostic box or one-size-fits-all treatment.
